The Image to the left: Trenching at Kazandol, Macedonia. A wide interval of oxide copper minerals was intersected in this trench. The zone of oxide copper has now been followed for more than 5 kilometres as a flat thrust sheet, between 25 and 100 metres thick. Recently widespread copper was found in the upper plate at Kazandol South.
